For our last night in Puerto Morelos, we went for dinner to Tulipán. This is a lovely, clean restaurant on a corner in Colonia. Our server, Ozzie, was friendly and entertaining. The margaritas were large and very well made. We started with pork rolls, meatballs, and pork belly taco. All were tasty and well presented. Our entrees were the beef ribs. Wow! Amazing flavours. Chef Octavio also came out to chat with us. The whole experience was a notch above!

Enjoyed a delicious meal of braised short ribs over a bed ofmashed potatoes and leeks - perfection! Friendly staff and a visit by Chef Octavio was bonus. Definitely going back.

Tulipan is a delightful surprise! On my recent visit my sister suggested I go to Tulipan. As it is in the Colonia I expected another Taco shack. I was amazed by the sophisticated dish prepared by chef Octavio. The pork chop was the best I've had in my life. Prepared perfectly, it was seved with a side of quinoa and a grilled zucchini, and covered an a turmeric sauce that was so good that I wanted to lick the plate. I washed it all down with the Tulipan signature margarita. Tulipan will be my first stop on my next trip to Pureto Morelos.

Last night I had one of my top 3 meals ever in Puerto Morelos at Tulipan. Not surprising, the other two were also at Tulipan!! Amazing filet special with potatoes gratin. Excellent service. Chef Octavio came out personally to check on how I wanted my filet cooked!! Such an amazing place and not to be missed!!!

One of the best meals I've ever had in Puerto Morelos and I've been coming here for years. Staff, service, food was all top notch. They even accommodated us when we arrived a little late and stayed open to cook for us. A must try

¡Excelente! Always a great experience and food selection at Tulipan. Specials, karaoke, cocktails and a variety of choices of wine. Great job by Chef Octavio creating many dishes and even special requests including tasting menus and wine pairing. The John H Washington greets guests and provides wonderful customer service.

Just came back from enjoying a fabulous meal at Tulipan. I highly recommend you try some of the new dishes being offered. The pan seared chicken breast with capers, olives and mushrooms and tomatoes with fresh spices, was a wonderful blend of flavours. The salmon dish had an amazing glaze. Just go and have a gastronomical experience. If you’re lucky you will get a chance to chat with the chef. His experiences in various high end restaurants and his intuitive ability to blend various flavours together explains the final tasty results! This place is truly a hidden gem! We will be back.
